OPENING DAY IS AROUND THE CORNER
Are you excited to get back on the courts?
We are excited to announce that opening day is tentatively scheduled for April 10th, weather permitting. As per last year, court times will be available to book one week in advance, and, you are eligible for 2 hours of active bookings at a given time.
Please note that we will have attendants on duty much more this season to ensure that those booked are the ones playing. Any abuse of courts can result in your membership being revoked. Please make sure you play fair and follow the rules so that we can all play as much as possible.
COMPETITIVE TEAMS
If we have enough interest, we will be fielding 5 competitive teams this year, as follows:
Tuesday Evenings: Intercounty B Team (NTRP 4.0+)
Thursday Evenings: Intercounty C Team (NTRP 3.5+)
Thursday Mornings: 55+ Mixed Team
Saturday Mornings: 40+ Mixed Team
Saturday Mornings: 40+ Men's Team
If you have played on any of the teams in the past, you DO NOT need to try out again. If you have played on our teams in the past are interested in playing on the Intercounty B team once again, please contact Steven Hellmann, president@bvtc.ca. If you are interested in playing on the C, 55+, or 40+ teams, please contact Yenny Musalem, membership@bvtc.ca.
If you are new to the teams and wish to try out, tryouts will take place on the evening of April 19th, with a rain date of April 21st. Please click the button below to register for tryouts and we will email you with your tryout time in early April.
SOCIALS
As you know, we will be bringing back our socials this year. We have a full list of events on our calendar, along with tentative dates. We will update you in future newsletters if any of the dates change, as well as provide you with sign-up information for each social as we get closer to the dates.
We will also be bringing back the House League, with an anticipated start date of May 30. We will be sending registration information for the House League in a future newsletter. Stay tuned!
